techdisc in private lessons
Using a TECHDISC in our disc golf lessons provides an additional layer of communication between client and coach. Seeing numbers change for the better is, for many, more “”real” than hearing a coach say “That looks much better!” Especially when throwing into a net.
Clients can then use their free TECHDISC account to open their throws in TECHDISC’s Customizer after the lesson, where users go even deeper learning about disc flight and their own tendencies and opportunities to improve. The more you know, the better you throw!

Clients who purchase their own TECHDISC and work with one of our coaches remotely are able to significantly shrink the communication gap inherent with anything less than being face-to-face.
We already built the best live-remote coaching experience in disc golf, but with TECHDISC it’s even better. Reliable data confirms what the coaches see and teach during a lesson, and clients can easily share progress with their coach at any time.

Most of the focus for the folks at TECHDISC has been on developing the technology and meeting product demand, as it should be. They do have some great resources, though. You just need to know where to look.
This will likely get more elegant in the future, but for now you’ll find at link to their Knowledge Base site at the bottom of techdisc.com.
Under the small heading “Stats (2)” you’ll see a link for “TECHDISC Metrics.” Click this link and you’ll be taken to a page that over-delivers in a big way. Whether you ever use a TECHDISC or not you’ll likely gain mucho useful knowledge about why discs fly the way they do.
