Detailed Hole Description
Hole 3 is quite downhill and plays fast. The hazard “creek” that runs lengthwise down the middle is a little crevice into which discs can settle. A clump of trees in the center will collect most shots that don’t hit the largest gap on the left, and shots with too much speed can just feed down past the B position to the rough below, left, and right.
Tips for Playing the Hole
Beginner/Novice Tip
Aim down off the tee, as throws that go up and left can get off track in a hurry. Don’t throw a driver disc on this hole. Keeping your shot straight is more important than the extra distance you might hope for.
Advanced Player Tip
It is very difficult to shape a backhand drive that reaches the B position without luck or perfection. The hazard comes into play mostly when the basket is in the A position, as it runs only a couple of feet away.
