Hole 4

Detailed Hole Description

You have two choices here. Thread the needle directly at the basket and risk landing in the hazard “swamp,” or go left and trust your luck/skill to pull off a likely very difficult second shot. The fairway is packed with trees that also make for an extremely low ceiling.

Tips for Playing the Hole

Beginner/Novice Tip

Go left, and don’t try to throw too hard on any of your throws. Slow and steady is your best bet on this hole.

Advanced Player Tip

If you feel good about getting over the swamp cleanly, the direct route can be worth the risk. But if you land in the hazard, you’re on your way to a big number, especially when the basket is in the B position. It sits under another low canopy, making it hard to get close from more than 100 feet.
